Decided to try Peggy’s for a special occasion and they made a great day better. Wonderful service, amazing food, and knowledgeable wait staff made the whole experience very special. It is a more casual atmosphere compared to their other restaurant, Bohanans, but the quality is very much on par! Would absolutely go back for a memorable experience again.

Mark Bohanan has been the Chef/Owner of Bohanan’s, the highly regarded prime steak and seafood restaurant in downtown San Antonio for 22 years. In 2016, he cast his eye north, intent on establishing a Southern-inspired, all-American restaurant in Boerne, Tx. Peggy’s on the Green is the result – named for Mark’s late mother, who was a great cook in her own right. “As a kid growing up in Jourdanton, I watched my grandma make everything from scratch every day.
